Description
Hexene-1 (C6) is a colorless liquid with a mild hydrocarbon odor. It is extremely flammable.
Applications
It is used as a co-monomer in the polymerization processes and in the production of alkyl aromatics, plasticizer alcohols, and in some specialty chemicals such as epoxides and other derivatives.
